IDDE Investigations and Complaints

NPDESPro’s full-featured Illicit Discharge Detection and Elimination (IDDE) module allows permittees to investigate, track, and report on illicit discharge issues within their jurisdiction. The IDDE module also integrates with our Post-Construction and Construction modules, allowing inspectors to simulatenously record an IDDE issue while they perform another type of inspection.

NPDESPro’s full IDDE form can capture spill information on one page. With added options for customization and status tracking, investigations can be managed according to your MS4s processes.
As investigations are input, NPDESPro’s built-in Illicit Discharge map shows hotspot areas in your jurisdiction, making it easy to identify recurring issues and patterns.
The Illicit Discharge module contains its own reporting section designed for MS4s to pull comprehensive annual reports for all logged investigations.

Outfall Management & Monitoring

Utilize NPDESPro’s Outfalls module to manage outfalls and complete routine inspections. Record a history of compliance and track exceedances for each watershed. If an exceedance is found, flag the entire watershed so inspectors can be on the lookout for sources of pollutants while performing inspections.
