About NPDESPro

Our Story

With over three decades of experience as an engineer specializing in stormwater systems, I have dedicated my career to enhancing stormwater quality. My journey began with learning stormwater design from the best in the business. I followed that by developing and patenting a stormwater maintenance device, the Catch-All® and building a stormwater maintenance company around that device.

From that vantage point, I got to see first-hand the overwhelming workload and dedication of municipal inspectors, which led me to imagine and develop NPDESPro. I developed the first version of the application to aid inspectors with just one Control Measure, Post-Construction. We have since grown the application to aid inspectors and water quality managers alike with all 6 control measures; we even added a few application extras along the way (MS4 Metrics and Pollution Prevention).  Several application versions later, we continue to listen to our customers and use their input to develop the most user-friendly and effective application available to MS4s and water quality professionals.

Our Mission

Our focus on stormwater is not tech business as usual. We aren’t first and foremost web developers – we are stormwater professionals. We strive to leverage technology as a powerful tool to elevate the quality of stormwater management practices. With NPDESPro, our goal is making a tangible difference in stormwater quality. We want to aid stormwater professionals across the country in their quest to improve stormwater quality and still have free time to enjoy the fruit of their labor. We remain steadfast in our dedication to advancing the field for the betterment of stormwater quality everywhere.
